Travel – YES, throughout the greater LV area (fuel reimbursement)
MUST HAVES
- 1-2 years documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety Systems, Access Control, CCTV, or Security Systems.
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.
- Experience with hand tools test equipment, multi-meter usage, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices.
- Ability to install conduit wire and fire alarm devices.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Working knowledge of electronic and digital test equipment.
- Basic understanding of Network concepts and architectures.
SUMMARY
A global leader in creating sustainable building solutions is seeking a growth-oriented Fire System Programmer to join their team. The ideal candidate will perform installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting activities on Fire Alarm systems for a variety of clients throughout the Greater Las Vegas area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform installation/programming on integrated security and fire alarm systems.
- Responds to customer service calls promptly and efficiently, troubleshoots and repairs as needed.
- Communicates with central dispatch on current work order status and receives updates on outstanding customer issues.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational/product manuals.
- Supervise and inspect the installation of equipment to meet customer and contract specifications.
- Completes necessary certification courses on internal and external products used.
- Complete and submit all required task-related, activity, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.

- Lots of overtime provided through additional hours and potential night shifts!
- Candidates are required to drive their own vehicle while on contract, but will be provided with a company vehicle upon conversion.
